Arbutus Honey, we collect it from the nectar of Arbutus flowers that are abundant in the mountainous areas of Arcadia.
Its color is either dark or light brown, depending in the time of harvest, which is autumn or spring accordingly. Also, it is characteristically aromatic honey, with a sweet to bittersweet taste.
Of course, in terms of usage, you can use it anywhere and any way you want. For example, some suggestions are to spread it on a slice of bread, or to replace honey with sugar or other sweeteners that are usually added to tea or in our cooking recipes. Ideal for children, rich in trace elements, polyphenols, vitamins and potassium while being low in lipids and sodium. Finally, of course like any honey, it has a high antimicrobial and bactericidal effect.
